Who is responsible

Ethan Rogers operates ethanplus.ai and the pages under it, including scheduling links on this domain. For anything in this policy, email e@ethanplus.ai.

What is collected, and why

Visiting the site

The site runs its own analytics, built and hosted by me, to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It does not use cookies and does not build profiles. For each page view it records the page, the referring site, your country and region, your browser and device type, how long the page stayed open, and how far it was scrolled. Your IP address is used to compute a visitor identifier that changes every day and is never stored. That identifier cannot be linked to you across days. The site also loads Vercel Analytics, which measures traffic in a similar, cookie-free way.

Subscribing to the newsletter

Your email address and the page you subscribed from. I use it to send occasional notes about what I am building and writing. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email me and I will remove you.

Sending an inquiry

Your name, work email, company, website, message, budget range, and timeline. I use this to reply to you and to decide whether an engagement fits. Submissions pass through automated spam screening before I see them.

Booking a meeting

When you book through a scheduling link on this domain: your name, email, company, any notes you add, and the time you chose. I use this to create the calendar event, send you a confirmation with the meeting link, and prepare for the call.

Google Calendar access

Scheduling links show my real availability. To do that, I connect my own Google accounts to this site using Google's OAuth sign-in. The site requests read access to my calendars and permission to create events on them. It is my data, from my accounts; the site never asks visitors to connect a Google account.

The site uses that access for exactly two things:

• Reading busy and free time ranges across my calendars, so a booking link only offers times I am actually available.
• Creating a calendar event, with a video meeting link, when someone books a time.

The site does not read event titles, descriptions, attendees, or any other calendar content when computing availability. It uses Google's free/busy lookup, which returns time ranges only. Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted in the site's database and are used solely for the purposes above. Calendar data is never sold, shared with anyone, used for advertising, or used to train any model.

ethanplus.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time from the connected Google account's security settings, which immediately stops the site from reading or writing that calendar.

Where data lives

The site relies on a small number of providers, each holding only what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel hosts the site and provides Vercel Analytics.
• Neon hosts the database that stores subscriptions, inquiries, bookings, analytics events, and encrypted calendar tokens.
• Resend delivers email: newsletters, confirmations, and notifications.
• Google provides calendar and video meeting services for bookings.
• Cloudflare may be used to screen form submissions for automated abuse.

No data is sold. No data is shared with advertisers. No data is shared with anyone outside these providers.

How long it is kept

• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.
• Inquiries and bookings: as long as needed to work with you, then removed on request or during periodic cleanup.
• Analytics events: raw events are kept for up to 13 months, then deleted.
• Calendar tokens: until the connection is revoked or removed from the admin.

Your choices

Email e@ethanplus.ai to see what the site holds about you, correct it, or have it deleted. I will confirm within a few working days. Because analytics identifiers rotate daily and are not tied to your identity, there is nothing in analytics I can attribute to a specific person to return or delete.

Children

This site is for people running or working in companies. It is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top will change and the newsletter will mention it.
